A 1956 photo of an mystery two-tone Tucker seen in Miami

Hugh Nuttung has forwarded these images of a still unidentified two-tone Tucker.

Hugh: "I saw this one when I was being taken to Miami International about January 2, 1956."

Mike Tucker commented on the images:

"Hi Howard-Someone posted those photos on another Tucker page today as well.  It looks like they landed on it being 1003 but I'm not sure I agree.  I don't have any pictures of the car in that color combination or with the round side view mirrors.  Given the sign it is most likely a former Jenin car which narrows it down a bit but I'd have to do some more research on it.  I did just spend a bit looking through photos and didn't land on anything yet.  If I do I'll let you know. Thanks! Mike"

Anyone have any information on this unusual Tucker? The only other two-tone Tucker was Tucker 1046 , which was owned by Nick Jenin as part of his Fabulous Tucker exhibit. As noted by Mike, the color combination seen also in 1956 was different.

Does anyone have any information on this Mystery Tucker?

Enjoy,

Howard Kroplick

Those round mirrors are most likely 1955 to 1957 Chevrolet. I found that they were on my Glasspar G2 from a 1956 photo. They make very nice repos now.
