Queens Chronicle reports “Land Grab” along the Long Island Motor Parkway
The Queens Chronicle reports reports that New York City will be taking action against residents who infringe on the right-of-way of the Long Island Motor Parkway.
It should be noted the author of the article incorrectly uses the names, Vanderbilt Parkway and Long Island Motor Way, to describe the parkway. When in operation from 1908 to 1938, the parkway was known by only one name- the Long Island Motor Parkway.
