Today, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 7pm at the Bethpage Public Library, Come for an evening of the Gilded Age and Long Island Country Homes and Estates, a presentation by Long Island Country Home author, Paul Mateyunas.
Also, we will be memorializing the recent, sad passing of legendary NASCAR driver and Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society friend, Marty Himes.
And a reminder that the ALCO Black Beast will be appearing at the Long Island Motor Parkway Memories 1st Annual Fall Car Show, in Williston Park on Sunday!

LIMPPS meeting Thursday 26th, 7pm
Real Estate agent, Gold Coast Estate historian and author Paul Mateyunas will be lecturing on the Gilded Age and Long Island estates and country homes.
Paul's 2007 hard-bound book, 'North Shore Long Island Country Houses 1890-1950' is a 'must-read' for all lovers of Long Island's rich history of magnificent homes during the gilded age of Long Island.

The ALCO Black Beast will be appearing at Long Island Motor Parkway Memories 1st Annual Fall Car Show on the Motor Parkway in Williston Park Sunday!
Come out and share Motor Parkway stories and maybe get a ride in the Black Beast!
Show ground is on the entrance to the Williston Park Village Pool, east of Willis Avenue in Williston Park.

Howard, thanks for talking to me at the LIMP meeting Thursday night. Regarding discussions the LIMP has had about updating the LIMP exhibit at the Vanderbilt Museum I gave you a draft of a proposed LIMP exhibit for the Museum. The pictures should all be familiar to you as they are taken from your books and this website. I have source information for each picture or drawing on in my files.
