The Long Island Sound Region of CCCA's very own Walt Gosden was profiled in the January 2010 issue of Hemmings Classic Car. The article: Walter E. Gosden: The Classic Car Club of America's beloved coachwork historian notes:

Alco Black Beast in the News

The Black Beast received a shout-out in the article Sand Special: Riding Ralph Hamlin's 1911 Franklin Special desert racer in the December 2011 issue of Hemmings Classic Car:
