Memorable Moments From The 2014 Brickyard Invitational

Our five days at the Brickyard Invitational at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway were filled with fun, smiles, and thrills. Here are some additional memorable moments.

Enjoy,

Black Beast on Display

The Alco Black Beast display attracted large crowds. Over 3,000 flyers and brochures were given out.

Everyone enjoyed hearing the Black Beast roar.

Special Visits

Pioneering driver Janet Guthrie returned to see the the Black Beast.

Indy driver Rick Treadway compared the Black Beast to his 2002 Indy 500 car.

Cam-Am driver, Oscar Koveleski took a mini-Cannonball Run through the Brickyard.

My friend Mark Dill, who helped organize the SVRA Brickyard Invitational, was an excellent mechanician.

Keep it coming. I’m going to get a little bit of car memories on Saturday at Demonstration Day at Simeone Automotive Museum, calling it Pantheons of Style, which includes 6 cars being driven around outside, what a day that will be.

Howard,
Looks like you had a terrific time.  It must be a blast to drive around the track in Indy.  Congratulations!
