Third Clean Up the Old Bethpage Motor Parkway Bridge Day Scheduled for Saturday, December 3, 2011
Great progress is being made on the Old Bethpage Motor Parkway Bridge. Let's continue the restoration!
The third Cleanup Day is scheduled for Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 10:00 AM. Cars should enter at the Bethpage-Sweet-Hollow Road entrance to the Old Bethpage Village Restoration. The Day will begin with breakfast at the Plainview Diner, 1094 Old Country Road, at 9:00 AM.
To date, approximately $4,500 in goods and monies have been donated to this project. We need additional funds for bridge and road restoration materials. For example, a commitment of only $300 will pay for two truckloads of crushed stone for the December 3rd Clean-Up Day. If you wish to contribute to this effort (any amount!), please send an email to me at [email protected] .
