Three Long Island Clubs and Three Tuckers Visit Tucker 1044 at Waterfront at Roslyn

It was a perfect Sunday last week as the Long Island Buick Club, the Long Island Volkswagen Club and the Long Island Motor Parkway Preservation Society cruised to the Waterfront at Roslyn Garage. As a special treat, Mike and Sean Tucker, great-grandsons of Preston Tucker and Ty Tucker, Preston's great-great grandson,  came in from Pennsylvania to attend this special event.

Highlights are below.

Enjoy,

Tucker 1044 and the Alco Black Beast were on display.

On behalf of the Buick Club, historian Walt Gosden presented me with a previously unpublished Tucker photo.

In 1948, a Freeport , New York Tucker dealer stands next to his dealer Tucker with his wife behind the wheels. Sixteen-year old Ralph A. Ocon of Cold Spring Harbor was in the front passenger seat.
