The Black Beast was on display at the track with 37 vintage racers. The crowd heard the Beast roar every hour. The Firestone mascot gives a thumbs up. Check out the tatoo! Driver Josef Newgarden enjoying the Beast. 21-year old Newgarden was the fastest qualifying rookie for this year's Indy 500 (averaging 224.037 mph) and will be starting in Row 3. Howard, you sure get around.  You’re doing a great job displaying your terrific Alco and giving the public a sense of history.
I think all of us in the antique car hobby have a responsibility to show off our cars and make ourselves available to answer any and all questions.

The Alco has more mileage on it in the few years than it did in the 20 years before Howard worked his restoration magic. Keep up the good work Howard. You are introducing a whole new generation to the art of preservation and restoration. Those young people sitting in the Alco will remember it forever. Bravo Howard—Bravo.
