This Car Club was formed in May 1996. Our club's purpose is "to organize, maintain and promote a friendly group of active car enthusiasts among members of the Law Enforcement Profession." The club is open to Law Enforcement Personnel and family, who own or have an interest in collectible automobiles. Members are active or retired from Nassau, Suffolk, New York City and State Police, Courts, Corrections, Sheriffs or other Enforcement Agencies. Dues are $10 per year.

The club meets monthly at a regular "cruise night" meeting over dinner to discuss car-related events and issues, law enforcement-related events and issues, and to choose upcoming events to attend. Usually our club will select an event that benefits a worthy cause; these events are sponsored by the various clubs on Long Island. Family members are welcomed to all events.

Currently, the Centurion Cruisers Car Club has over 100 members who own cars ranging from a 1911 Breese Paris, to the latest-model Corvette, Mercedes or Challenger. It's not a specific make, model or year of car that members join this club for -- we have no specific guidelines or year and make requirements -- people join because of the common interest of being in Law Enforcement and wanting to attend events and meet new friends.
